Personal Taste

Spoilers
Ok, well i've decided to change how I do this... I will just post the big spoilers, because documenting everything that happens is not only tedious for me, but also boring for the reader.
I wish the main actress was prettier... seriously, with a guy counterpart like that :P

Gae-In's boyfriend is getting married to her best friend of ten years. He keeps trying to tell her that he wants to break up, but she doesn't get the hints he keeps drawing. He ends up leaving a wedding invitation on her door step, and leaving a voice mail telling her not to come the next day to the wedding.
She doesn't see the invite, or hear the message. The next day she's heartbroken and betrayed, more by In hee, her friend of 10 yrs, than chang ryul.
The story goes on. Jin ho is mistaken as gay, and later when he wants to move into her house, she allows him because she assumes he has no interest in women. For him, it's hard to fake, especially in a certain bathroom incident where she's not fully dressed - but has no problem because she thinks of him as a girl.
They both fall for eachother, but can't tell one another.
Director Choi is discovered to be gay (for real ;), and confesses that he fell for Jin Ho. In Hee pursues Jin ho. Chang Ryul regains interest in Gae in, and tries to get her back. With Jin ho's help, she decides to get back with him to dump him cruely and get revenge for hurting her. Later however, she tells him that she only got back with him for revenge.
Jin ho reveals that he's not gay, and that he loves her.

Princess Hours - Episode 24 Spoilers Final Episode

Episode 24, Final Episode Spoilers

They found the "arsonist". Yool's mother gets Lady Suh, Yool's nanny, to say that Shin requested her to do it.
Shin is called for summons (trial). He and Yool fence together, and Shin tells yool that he knows he's not the one behind it. They make up. Shin gives Yool the love letters and pictures he found in the Pavilion, from his father and Yool's mother. Shin gets taken away by the police.
Yool tells the press that he was the one who set the fire. Yool's mother finds out, and tries to kill her self again. They leave the palace... good riddance lady!

The King retires and gives Shin the throne, and Chae Kyung leaves with Lady Choi. Shin gives the throne to his sister, and she's now the Queen. (she's awesome)
Shin goes to see Chae kyung in Marco, and unfortunately, they don't do "it". GAH I was waiting for it the whole drama! Well, i guess maybe they did, cuz at the end Chae Kyung has morning sickness sooo... Anyway, the ending bear part shows her holding a baby bear :D

You should really watch the ending credits here, it shows the Queen too.

Princess Hours - Episode 23 Spoilers

Episode 23 Spoilers

After leaving the fire, the police say that the key suspect is Shin, because he was there and they found no sent texts on Chae Kyung's phone.

The real arsonist is Yool's mother, of course. She tells her servant to make sure that Yool never finds out about it. However, Yool thinks his mother did it. Neither Chae Kyung nor Yool believes that shin set the fire.

Shin tells chae kyung that he's sorry that she won't be deposed, but that once everything is taken care of, he'll let her go. The Great Queen Mother (I LOVE HER :) talks to Chae Kyung , and consols her, while shin's sister (I love her too) consols her father.

Ahh, what's a good drama without the famous hug-from-behind? :D And what's a good drama without a good KISS? They kiss. A real kiss. not just lips pressed together. The whole-freakin' deal. Now, when's she gonna get prego?

Ahh but back to arson, the Queen is not stupid. She knows EXACTLY who the arsonist is. Yool's mom.
Yool's mother puts pressure on the clan members to depose shin and chae kyung.
Yool confronts his mother about setting the fire.

The royal family wants to send Chae Kyung overseas to show that she's sorry, but shin doesn't want that.
meanwhile, back at school, Shin's friends friends are getting together with Chae Kyung's friends... three and three - pretty convenient hm?

Chae Kyung decides to leave on the trip...
Gosh I can't believe there's only one episode left....

Princess Hours - Episode 22 Spoilers

Episode 22 Spoilers
Shin remembers how Yool was cruel to him when they were kids, and held the fact that he was higher than him.

The king tells Yool to take the Crown Princess to her room.
When Shin tries to take her back, she rejects him. I know he was mean to her, but I really hate all of them for not caring about him. Everything that happened to him...  I can relate to him. Even his own father prefers his cousin!! no one can see how much he's hurting.

Desperate to keep Chae Kyung with him, Shin tells her that he's punishing her by never letting her leave the palace.

The King plans to kick Yool out according to regulations, but Yools mother doesn't plan to let that happen. Yool wants to take her with him out of the Palace. Yool's mom influences the clan elders, and they say that either both Yool and the Princess get kicked out, or both get to stay. They threaten the royal family, by saying that if this doesn't happen, they will expose it to the public.

Chae Kyung single-handedly causes both Shin and Yool to cry. I'm impressed. I'm always astounded with how much can happen in only one episode...

Chae Kyung tells the royal family that she wants to leave the palace.

An attendent is shown going into Chae Kyung's room and sending a text. Shin gets a text from her phone that she is in Yool's room, asking him to come quickly. He goes and doesn't find anyone... then a call comes from Yool's phone. then he discovers the building he's in is on fire.

Princess Hours - Episode 21

I like the fact that she's not a slobbery-over-the guy type, but i don't think she should have mentioned the divorce. She really caused a lot of trouble... both for Shin, and the King. The King is furious, and even her parents wonder why she said that. Her friends begin to wonder if she'll be deposed (kicked out of the palace). The king wonders if shin is qualified to be king, and is looking at Yool instead. The Queen says that she will protect Shin, practically threatening the King. Everyone begins to wonder again whe Chae Kyung was with, as the only people who know it was Yool is yool himself, Shin, Chae Kyung, Lady Choi and The Queen. Yool's mother convinces the car thieves not to say anymore, worried that Yool will be exposed. Her advisor tells her that she should convince the King to forgive Chae Kyung, because no one will dare bring it up again if he does.
Chae Kyung begins to realize what a mistake she made, especially after Shin told her that he loves her, now he says she betrayed his heart.
Meanwhile, the Queen is thinking about her husband. She knows he still loves Yool's mother, and she never felt like he actually loved her.

When Shin gets ready for an event to get national treasures back, the King tells him that Yool will be going instead.
Shin remembers how his father always favored Yool.

Chae Kyung begs the King for forgivness, and sits all day without moving. Yool goes to see her, but she asks about shin. Yool finds out it was his mother who told Chae Kyung to beg, and he's furious.
Yool tells everyone that he was the one who was with her, and that he loves her.

Princess Hours - Episode 20 spoilers

Ok sorry about this, but I'm almost done with  the drama so I'll just give some spoilers on episode 20 (some of this stuff may be from ep. 19, that was continued here)

Spoilers for episode 20:

Chae Kyung is mad at Shin, and she is really quiet the whole episode. She drives out to the river at night, to get a breath of fresh air, and Yool follows her. Someone steals her car as she is walking with Yool.... when the car thieves are caught, they say that the Crown Princess was with a man. A scandal breaks out that she is cheating on her husband, and Shin, although he knows she was with Yool, tells her to tell the elders that she was with someone else, so she tells them that the man was her father. The car thieves then say it couldn't have been, because the man was young, but it dies off. Shin is really hurt, but he doesn't show it of course.
He forbids chae Kyung from talking to Yool, but she still does of course.

Shin discovers a love letter in the Pavilion, and confronts Yool's mother about it.
Shin's mother, the Queen, decides it would be better if Hyo Rin, the ex-gf, leaves away from the Palace, as alot of scandals are related to her. She tells Hyo Rin that she will be her patron, supporting all of her education to become a ballet master. Hyo Rin takes her offer, and leaves (:
Yool tries to convince Chae Kyung to ask for a divorce during her live interview, but just as she is about to say it, Shin says that he loves her on the live interview.
Continued in episode 21, Chae Kyung, however, still brings the divorce up, putting shin in a spot, as well as the royal family. Shin confesses his love for her, but the royal family is upset

Princess hours, a few spoilers.

Ok, so since I am halfway through this already, I won't be posting all spoilers from the episodes, as I cannot remember them all.
Some things that were memorable were:
The marriage bed (LOL!)
At Yool's birthday party, when she plays the tape.

At the wedding ceremony, Chae Kyung does mess up, but not during the live broadcast. Later when they are having the elders give their blessings.
She also ruins the Queen mother's car, but the Queen mother is not angry, as she says that Chae Kyung saved her from her own pride in a car she should have gotten rid of many years ago.
She does fine when Prince William comes over, no problems there.

Storyline:
This is the typical story about a stuck up, lonely boy who doesn't know how to express himself in his suffocating world, who gets together with a cheerful carefree girl.
This drama starts with the King shown as ill. Concerned with what might happen, should he pass away, the royal family decides to marry the Crown Prince, Shin. They plan to marry him to a girl who was betrothed to the Crown Prince when they were babies. Shin, however, does not want an arranged marriage in the 21st century, so he asks his girlfriend Hyo Rin, an aspiring ballet student, to marry him. Hyo Rin, however, tells him that she does not want to give up her dream of becoming a world renowned ballerina, thus rejecting him. When he does not come back to the royal family with a fiancĂ©e, the royal family goes through with preparing his marriage with the betrothed girl. The intended bride? A headstrong, cheerful, carefree commoner girl from his school, Chae Kyung. Her life is simple, having fun with her friends, eating tok-poki, and being with her family. Her and Shin's grandfathers were best friends, and made a pact to marry their grandchildren. Of course, they don't get along at all, beginning with a run-in at their school.
Anyway, they end up getting married, him for convenience, and her for the money to support her poor family. This is the first time a commoner is married into the royal family, creating much interest in the country.
Shin has not always been the Crown Prince... he only received that position when his uncle, the King, passed away and his father became the new King. According to palace rules, Yool, the original Crown Prince and his mother had to leave the castle (though we find out later on that there was a much darker secret that made them leave). They move to London. Soon they return, however, when they hear the news of the marriage. Yool's mother wants revenge for being removed from the royal household, and is set out to return Yool to what she considers his rightful position - next in line for King - and she will stop at nothing to get that goal.
Yool was the original Crown Prince, and he is also Shin's cousin. He falls in love with Chae Kyung's personality, and starts to harbor envious feelings to Shin as he feels that Shin doesn't deserve her. He is also aware of the fact that if his own father had not passed away, HE would have been Chae Kyung's husband. It is because of this that he assists his mother in the attempts to bring Shin down and reinstate himself as the future King of Korea. Scandals break out. Yool's mother has a newspaper company on her side, and she makes sure to use it. The royal family is in chaos. The Queen, Shin's mother, knows something weird is going on with Yool's mother - suddenly coming back after dissapering for 14 years with no communication? She tries to caution her husband, the King, and the Queen Mother, but no one listens to her.
Princess Hye Myung, shin's sister, returns from her studying abroad. She is a nice girl, who has gone all around the world helping poverty stricken countries. She is very smart, and advises her mother and the Queen Mother to keep their cool, as someone is playing them. The scandals keep coming...
Chae Kyung has begun to fall for Shin, but little does she know, he has fallen for her. Through a series of events and misunderstandings, she assumes he wants to divorce her and go back to Hyo Rin after 2-3 years. She gets close to Yool, as he is in her class at school, and he always gives her a shoulder to lean on. Shin is jealous and angry when he sees her being so kind to him, and fears that she will love Yool instead. So, as the story goes, he deals with that by being really mean to her and dragging her away everytime she talks to Yool, as well as even punching Yool.
Then Shin discovers something disturbing, putting him in bad terms with Yool's mother... but it's not only about her. It involves someone from the palace as well...

A little bit about this blog

Hello friends,

I created this blog, as I have been looking for something exactly like this. I'm watching something, and I want a spoiler - plain and simple. I guess people have an aversion to posting spoilers, as alot of others will complain. Well, this blog was made for spoilers :D I will also be putting in my opinions.
Here is how I will try to make my postings for dramas:
I will watch each episode, and tell any events that happened during each, and my opinions. After I'm done with the last episode, i will give an all around review. I'm not so good with "stars" so I'll just make up a scale then and there.
I will also be doing the same for movies, however it will probably only be one post.

Enjoy!
